Old age is like everything else. To make a success of it, you’ve got to
start young.   Fred Astaire

So you may be wondering what’s up with the quotes about age, well tomorrow is my birthday. It’s not just any birthday it’s my 29th birthday! I am having a hard time dealing with this fact and if I could blink it away I would. Don’t get me wrong I thank God that I’ve been able to live this long and pray that I live a lot longer but 29 is such a huge deal for me. I’ve explained before that in my mind 30 has always been considered the time my life would end… I don’t mean end forever I mean growing up whenever someone said they were 30 the first thoughts in my mind were “Gosh you’re old” so now I’m one year away from having little kids think that about me!

I have also written about how by the age of 30 I always told myself I would be happy with my life, I would be where I wanted to be mentally, physically, and emotionally. Tomorrow makes it all more real. I have a year to meet the goals I have placed upon myself since I was little. I have a year to get myself to the point that I feel I’ve done my best to bring happiness to my life. Boy do I have a lot of hard work to do!

I have began this process already since I knew my 29th birthday wasn’t going to just forget to come… I have been working on my relationship which has finally became something I’m proud of and willing to work on, I have been working on going back to school which as you know I start back on September the 2nd, I have to focus more on myself and getting myself to the point where I make me happy and I hope to change a lot more within this year. So I guess tomorrow starts it all I guess this is what I get for putting my happiness off for so long! A year isn’t a long time to accomplish everything!
