A Mom’s Life Made Simple

 It seems like I’ve been fighting with this for a while but today I feel that I have made a dent in the pile. I’m going back to school…. That’s right I’ve been out of college for around five years now and after paying back loans and debts, taking care of the kids, working, and finding myself (or at least part of me) I finally feel that I’m able to go back. I was working on my social work degree but have decided to change to psychology. I have been accepted into The University of Massachusetts, Lowell. I will not be moving it’s wonderful how technology has made it so that we can take classes from an actual university without leaving our homes. I’ll still be working nights and taking care of my kids but now I’ll be in school doing something for just myself. I feel like my own person again. I haven’t even started classes yet and already I feel the pride building up. 

So today my tackle Tuesday was to get financial aid, classes, and all the other school things going in the right direction. Classes start September 2nd and after going through a lot of drama with loans I had to pay off I feel like I’m running behind on everything. I have my advisor looking for the right classes for me, they seem to be looking into my financial aid (I applied for a grant and was approved), I have only had three of my classes from before transfer so far but I feel like I’m on top of the game and I can’t wait to get started!
